We enjoyed using the Bee-Bot app this week and applying everything we have learnt about algorithms with the real-life Bee-Bots. Using the app was a little trickier because we had to keep the algorithm in our heads rather than writing it down. It also meant that we needed to plan and remember the whole algorithm before starting, which sometimes made them quite long!

If you would like to try this at home, you can download the Bee-Bot app on most tablet devices and have a go at creating your own algorithms.

• Shorten it, or

• Add a parent-friendly explanation of algorithms.
