This week our focus book has been “You Choose”. The children have thoroughly enjoyed exploring the imaginative choices in the story and discussing what they would pick if they could choose anything at all! We had lots of wonderful conversations about which foods they would eat, which shoes they would wear and which pets they would like to have. It was lovely to hear the children explaining their ideas and listening to one another’s choices.

We spent some time looking closely at the page all about hats, which inspired lots of excitement and creativity. The children decided they would like to design and make their own hats, so we created cone hats using card. They carefully decorated them with colours and patterns of their choice, showing fantastic creativity and fine motor skills.
