We have been learning how to make jam sandwiches and how to follow instructions carefully to make jam sandwiches. First, we talked about the different ingredients we need and why each one is important.

We practised following the steps in the correct order to make our own sandwiches. We learnt how to spread the jam carefully and how to work neatly.

We also learnt how to use knives safely to cut our sandwiches. We talked about knife safety and how to hold and use them properly.

Finally, we explored the different shapes we could make by cutting our sandwiches, such as triangles and squares. We had lots of fun tasting our delicious creations!
