After reading the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears, we made porridge in school.
We learnt where oats come from and how they are grown and milled to make porridge oats. The children then mixed the oats with milk and carefully warmed the mixture to make porridge. Finally, we tasted the porridge and talked about its texture and flavour.
