This week, we have had a lovely time exploring lots of art! Our focus has been on collage, and we have been learning about the artists Sarah Jackson, Hannah Höch and Deborah Roberts. We discussed each artist’s work, sharing which pieces we preferred and explaining why, as well as asking thoughtful questions about what we wondered when looking at the artwork.

We have created three pieces of art this week. These included a self-portrait collage, a head-swap activity using magazines (which produced some very funny results!), and a collaborative self-portrait inspired by the style of Sarah Jackson.
