This week in English we have looked at the story Stuck by Oliver Jeffers. We discussed that Flloyd was very silly because he threw the ladder in the tree. We then practiced our segmenting and spelling to identify the key things that he threw into the tree. We put these into sentences to retell the story. The children have been working on using their 'grow the code' to find the sounds they need independently.
