This week, Year 2 had two very stinky visitors – The Twits!

We are using the story of the twits to learn about nouns (words for things you can have, such as hair, shoes, cake, sister) and to describe them.  You can help at home by looking out for nouns in your reading at home.  For example, in the sentence 'I went to school in my new car' the nouns are 'school' and 'car'.  If your child finds any, they can collect them in their reading diaries.

Don't forget Dinosaur Day on Monday where we will have lots of dinosaur crafty fun.  The children can wear dinosaur costumes, things with dinosaurs on or something brown/green.  If they don't like dressing up, they can wear old clothes to paint in.
