The children have had a wonderful first week at school. It has been lovely getting to know them all. Thank you for bearing with us whilst sending them home (it does become quicker as we get to know you). 

The children have been busy learning about the school routines, learning their group colours so that they know when it is their turn for inside and outdoor learning. They have also been learning how to sit on the carpet.  We have been doing some little listening activities to encourage the children to listen carefully when someone is talking to them. We have also been doing some phase 1 phonics where the children start to listen and say the sounds for SATPIN. 

As the children are now going to be staying for lunch, please talk through the lunch options with your child so that they know what they will be ordering each day when we ask them during the register.
