This week Year 1 welcomed Jane Carpenter from Exeter Synagogue. She taught us more about Judaism and shabbat. We learnt to count to ten in Hebrew and sung a song for Shabbat. We got to try on Kippah (scoll cap) and learnt to greet each other in hebrew. She told us about her experience as a member of the Jewish community.
