We had DCI Richard Preston visiting us in Year 1. He told us all about his job working for Devon and Cornwall Police. He has to be very physically fit as he carries lots of equipment, including, irritant spray, torch, baton, handcuffs and radio. Mrs Powley even volunteered to show us how the handcuffs work. Luckily he remembered the key. The children were very engaged and had lots of questions which Richard was happy to answer.
