This week in Year 1 we have been developing our design skills and making puppets. We explored the best way to make a moving part and decided that a split pina allowed the part of our puppet to pivot and we could use this to make our puppet wave. 

Year 1 took part in an art workshop this week. We joined schools from around TEAM Multi Academy Trust and experimented in using shade and tone. We use different resources to darken our lines (charcoal, crayon, pencil and fine liner). 

In computing we looked at multitasking. We needed to give algorithm to each of our sprites. We worked as teams to give a set of instructions to each character so that they all moved at the same time.
