Last Friday, 26th April, we really enjoyed meeting Joe Hart, the Basketballer from Sports for Champions.  Joe told the children all about his life and how much dedication and hard work he had to put in to achieve his goals.  He was a great example of all of our school learning heroes.  He has played basketball in America, Canada, Spain, Germany and the UK.  Joe explained how he wasn’t the biggest or the fastest but used his skills of a good shot and tactical awareness to reach his potential.  He was very inspiring for the children.  He was also great fun and enjoyed answering lots of interesting questions from the children.  The children followed Joe’s rules of working hard and having fun during the exercise circuits.
