We have continued working hard on our vehicle project this week. After decorating the chassis of our vehicles, it was time to add the axles and wheels.

We discovered that the axles were too long, so we learnt how to use hacksaws safely to cut them to the correct size. We talked about how to hold the saw properly and the importance of working carefully and safely.

Once the axles were the right length, we attached the wheels to complete our vehicles. Now they are ready to be tested down the ramps! We are excited to see how well they travel and to find out which designs work best.
