The Children's Remembrance Service

Today, some of the children from Fox Class had the privilege of attending the annual Children’s Remembrance Service at Rock Park.

The children represented our school beautifully and showed great respect throughout the service. They stood quietly and thoughtfully during the ceremony, observing the two-minute silence to remember and honour all those who have lost their lives in conflicts, both past and present.

As part of the service, the children proudly laid a wreath on behalf of our school and planted a poppy to represent our school community. This was a very special opportunity for the children to reflect on the importance of Remembrance and to understand why we take time each year to remember those who have made sacrifices for others.

We are incredibly proud of how respectfully and sensibly the children conducted themselves. They were wonderful ambassadors for Fox Class and our school and we hope they will treasure this meaningful experience.
