Year 2 enjoyed a very drizzly day trip to Exmoor Zoo this week.  We got to explore the zoo and then had a really interesting talk about rainforest animals linked to this term's topic.  The children got up close with a stick insect, snake, giant snail and preying mantis and even got to touch one or two of them.  The highlight for many were the big cats.   The Exmoor Beast made us jump a few times when it came right up to the window.  We managed to get a photo which you can see here!
