This week, we enjoyed writing about the text 'Stuck'. It is about a boy called Floyd whose kite gets stuck in a tree. To try and get the kite down, Floyd throws a wild variety of items into the tree, including shoes, animals, a car, and a whole house! We started the week, thinking about what Floyd is like as a character and what he looks like, before writing about what gets stuck in the tree and then being creative to think about how Floyd could rescue the items from the tree. The children all had some great ideas.
