Before half-term in art, the children created their own printing plates in the shape of a leaf using samples of different wallpapers.  This week, they learned to monoprint with their plates and printed the shapes into their sketchbooks.  They learned the technique of using rollers to pick up an even layer of paint and to roll it onto their whole leaf shape.  They produced some lovely artwork!
