This week's book was "The Bad Tempered Ladybird." We have been making ladybirds in class from paper plates. We looked closely at real ladybirds, thinking about the colours and patterns on these insects. We looked at the number of legs and the different parts of the ladybirds. We have been learning about odd and even numbers and we noticed that if the number of dots was the same on both sides of the ladybird, it always made an even number.
